When I heard that the mighty IDLES were playing an in-store performance at Rough Trade in the heart of Bristol, I thought they were mad. An in-store performance.... in a city centre record shop.... where they are based.... I could honestly see carnage ensuing. The streets would be locked down, people wouldn’t be able to see through smoke and flares, set off by naughty people, causing minimal movement around the city, whilst horse mounted coppers lined the streets, swinging their batons at anyone they fancied in a failed attempt to maintain some semblance of order like they would have done on a City/Rovers derby day back in the 80’s.

To further celebrate the 25th anniversary of Air’s seminal debut album Moon Safari, a Deluxe audio-video package will be released via Parlophone/ Warner Music on March 8. This follows huge excitement that the iconic French duo will play their widely celebrated album in its entirety for the first time across Europe this February & March. All dates on the original tour sold out in record time and given the exceptional demand for tickets, Air have now added further dates to their touring schedule for late spring and into the summer including a night at The Royal Albert Hall in London on May 30th and key appearances across Europe, including a headline show at legendary electronic music festival Sonar in Barcelona.
