The Orb

Glasgow Barrowlands

Do you remember who the support act(s) was/were?

DJ Lewis – but I only remember that because I still have the ticket.

Who did you go with?

Just myself.

How did you get there?

I think I walked.

What do you remember most about the show?

Someone offering me mushroom tea in the queue to get in. But apart from that, not a lot! I was sober, it was just a very long time ago and being The Orb it was all a bit trippy.

How did you feel the moment the lights dimmed and the ‘intro’ music started?

I’m not in Kansas anymore… ;-)

Indoors

Did you buy a T-Shirt?

Yes, I bought a Blue Room t-shirt.

Did you like the band MORE after you saw them live?

Probably, I do have a few of their CDs.

If you didn’t already own them, did you go and buy more of their music AFTER seeing them live?

I think so.

Are you still a follower of the act/band?

Yes. I bought Mettalic Spheres which was a collaboration with Dave Gilmour.

How many times have you seen the act/band now?

Just that once.

What advice would you give to a young fan looking to attend his/her first gig?

Don’t drink the mushroom tea.
