Urban Prophecies have released brand new track "Stars". Driven by the soft spoken "floetry" of Lead vocalist Manuel Chowdhury, the song is further complimented by the beautifully intertwining vocals delivered in the hook by lead singer Jo Cachia, as well as friend of the band and "Inverted Overlook" Lead singer, Dean Wright. "Stars" serves as an exciting follow up to the groups previous commercial release "We Felt The Earth Move." Check the track out below.
Furthermore, the new song can be heard and downloaded for FREE on the bands website www.urbanprophecies.com.
On the record, lead vocalist Manuel Chowdhury says; “After releasing our last song, we felt it was important to return to the style we were best known for, and felt most comfortable with.
In terms of inspirations, and writing the song, it's a situation most have been through, or experienced in some capacity, boy loves girl, girl loves boy, nothing in the world is perfect etc etc. From the moment go, this song had to be kept as bare as possible. As a group we love that raw, stripped feel we hope the track delivers."
Urban Prophecies are Manuel Chowdhury and Jo Cachia (lead vocals), Mark Cooper and Gearoid Maguire (guitar), Michael Johnson (bass) and James Cleverley (drums)
