Today Birmingham’s Superfood embark on their first headline tour around the UK and Ireland and we’re excited to share the brand new song ‘Bubbles’. It’s literally straight from the studio.
“It’s a discordant, vile, beautiful mess about people not having anything important to say but saying something for the sake of it” says Dom Ganderton, singer/guitarist.
The band started the year playing legendary debut gigs across London and conquering The Great Escape, then went on to tour the country with Peace and Splashh.
However while we were all enjoying the sun this summer, Superfood were locked away writing and rehearsing, preparing themselves for a long cold winter trapped in the back of a transit van.
The band are set to head out on the ultimate month-long romp of the country, starting in St Albans tonight and including sure-to-be-roadblocked free entry shows in London, Manchester and home-town Birmingham, they finish in Bristol in mid-October. The dates include the headlining slot of the Noisey/Vice Freshers tour with support from The Wytches.
