1. Meet Me In The Morning ( Radio Edit )
2. Last Of The Lonely
3. Trouble In Paradise
Reporters are a rock n roll duo, with teenagers Dan Stock ( lead vocalist / guitarist) and Josh Ringsell (drums/backing vocals) combining the fizz of youthful energy with impressive song writing skills, to create a raw, honest, vibrant sound. EP release “Trouble Last Morning” encapsulates the explosion of the Reporters in a nine minute blast, with lead track “Meet Me In The Morning” paving the way for this impressive debut and ending on the warmer heartfelt notes of “Trouble In Paradise”.
The EP was recorded in analogue form in one day at Soup Studios London ( The Maccabees / Johnny Flynn) to create a live, stripped back feel all whilst giving the realness of the songs the justice they deserve. The video for lead track “ Meet Me In The Morning” also follows this lo-fi pattern, with the band setting up on the floor of a music venue rather than the stage and recording the young duos raw live chemistry-stricken performance.
Live, Reporters are charismatic and energetic which compliments their rock n roll sound perfectly, as they embrace their no-nonsense approach to the songs. They already have a strong following from their home town of Milton Keynes supporting the likes of Catfish & The Bottlemen ( Communion Records) and Sheffield's Dead Sons. With a live session on BBC Introducing radio already in the bag and NME Radar chasing for a feature before the boys have even officially released any material, this can only mean that they should be on your Ones To Watch list .....
“The fast growing rush of young Milton Keynes duo Reporters is built on true, honest, lo-fi songs, full of youthful innocence and the longing for something else !” - Its All Indie“
