Wicked Snakes recording sessions still resound in the ears of their producer, the ink on the deal they signed with A Wolf At Your Door Records is still wet and it’s barely been a calendar month since their tripped-out metal vision was unleashed on stage … put simply, Wicked Snakes are as fresh as it gets.

‘Lead Me To The Sun’ will be launched on November 25th and throughout the six tracks frontman Luke Davis exposes a collection of well balanced fables detailing accounts of isolation, rejection, love and religion.

The considered lyrical content is accompanied instrumentally in the same way Luke vocalises his thoughts … it’s savage, it’s melodic, it’s hypnotic and it’s aggressive. The vocal style verges on growling, while the pounding rhythm section of Ash Hunt and Andy McQueen is offset with the accomplished guitar work of David McQueen who tears out solos with the conviction of someone far beyond his twenty years.

To support the release numerous tours are lined-up and there are three words gig-goers need to remember: Zone. Out. Mosh. Luke explains: “This is the aura we look to create. We wrote these songs to be listened to, digested and hopefully enjoyed. So grab a drink, come up close, nod your head and for the next thirty minutes, consider it a respite from the flaying limbs of a stranger intent on spilling your drink and giving you a black-eye.”
