This band give Depeche Mode a run for their money.
BIOGRAPHY: In 1991, Mark Hockings (vocals, guitars, keyboards, programming, lyrics) and Richard Silverthorn (keyboards, programming) met at a gig where Silverthorn's band was playing.
They were soon joined by Neil Taylor (keyboards, programming), a former band-mate of Silverthorn, and continued as Mesh with this line up until 2006.
The band gained lots of interest from record companies but were constantly put off signing a deal because the labels at that time wanted to change lyrics, structures and image etc. Not put off by this the band release their first album Fragile on their own label and self funded everything.
This first CD pressing is now become a collectors item.
1996 The band sign for Memento Materia a Swedish independent label releasing several studio albums

The band toured Europe several times and began to gain loyal and enthusiastic fan base.
In 2001 the band signed a major record deal with Sony Columbia and released - Who Watches Over Me and - We Collide
On 13 September 2006, Taylor announced that he was leaving the band to pursue other interests. Hockings and Silverthorn have stated their desire to continue making music as Mesh. The band recruited keyboardist Geoff Pinckney (Tenek) to act as a replacement for Taylor during their live performances.
Mesh became very respected in the Electronic scene and became a regular on the Alternative Festival main stages.
Their production skills have been requested to do remixes for many bands, including Apoptygma Berzerk, OBK, De/vision, Camouflage, Cruxshadows and many more.
On 8 January 2009, Side-Line magazine informed that the band were working hard in their studio in Bristol, writing and recording their new album describing the sound as 'Grittier and more Rockier than before.
November 3, 2009 saw the release of their tenth album "A Perfect Solution" which featured a more synth gritty rock sound rather than previous ones, it spawned 2 singles, first single "Only Better" (which a promotional video was made for) followed by second single "How Long".
Two years later, the band released "An Alternative Solution" which contains all tracks remixes of their latest album by bands like Zeromancer, Assemblage 23 among others.
2011 Saw the band embark on their first full tour of the USA doing 21 shows from East to West.
On September 5, 2011 the band announced via their website (www.mesh.co.uk) that work had commenced on their next album, the follow-up to "A Perfect Solution" (2009).
On November 20, 2011 they announced via Twitter that they are still working on the album, everything is going well and they are pleased with the results.
On 28 September 2012, the new album "Automation Baby" was announced with a release date of mid-February 2013. The lead single was confirmed a month later as "Born to Lie", with a release date of 18 January.
"Automation Baby" was released 15 March 2013 and entered the German Media Control Charts at rank 33 on 27 March.
End of March saw the band do a 3 week tour of Europe.
The band released the second single from Automation Baby - Adjust Your Set.
