No Middle Name aka David Bailey, one half of The Title Sequence, has just released his debut video for his latest single, 'Another Season' out now on Mollusc records.
Bailey has brought a distinct DIY hands-on approach to his new solo project. Never one to be restricted to just music, Bailey took pleasure in exploring his creative side. For his debut video, he taught himself to become an animator, no easy task. Armed with only a low-budget scanner and a pad of paper, he crafted the eccentric and lovely animated video for ‘Another Season.’
Bailey’s debut single, is the perfect introduction to the soft, dreamy qualities of No Middle Name, which are heavily influenced by the sounds of Wild Nothing and Youth Lagoon. Featuring the ethereal vocals of Lindsay West, the catchy synths and dreamy undertones will stay with you for long afternoons spent in the summer sun.
