The sort of epic, anthemic '80's-style power ballads that get swept up in their own drama. They might just draw you in- they may even take your breath away. GUARDIAN (New Band Of The Day)
A sugary, sticky tangle of booming electronic beats, hypnotic vocals and a suitably explosive chorus. Is there's any justice, Beanland should be lounging atop the charts by next summer. We're swooning. The 405
With a name that conjures up images of Grimm fairy tale characters and movie heroines from the 1980s, London based singer-songwriter Molly Beanland is set to release her debut single ‘Night Dreams’ on the 20th January 2014.
‘Night Dreams’ has been produced by up-and-coming, New York based producer Kyle Vento and features Molly’s distinctive pure, crystal-cut vocals, swimming in a sea of dreamy synths and pop-infused electronica.
Taking inspiration from the likes of Rufus Wainwright, Elliot Smith, New Order, Eurythmics and the New Wave soundtracks that graced mainstream “Brat Pack” films, Molly describes the track as ‘The ultimate love hurts tale. Obsession and the greediest of lusts, both wonderful and terrible, painful and pleasurable, you know it’s driving you insane but you are hopelessly addicted. If Night Dreams were a movie it would be a thriller. Part night terror part daydream’.
