Bringing together the finest elements of acoustic pop and rock - LeoKai is masterminding the launch of his brand-new single ‘Heartbeat’.
Leo is the person, Kai is the name of his guitar, named after his best friend.

Singing with distinction and diversity, the young musician from Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, is spearheading his album launch with the new acoustic number.
‘Heartbeat’ from the incoming album ‘Convictions’ is an example of how to work a timeless genre with prowess and surpassing emotion. 'Convictions' is available from January 4th 2014.
It features a strong medley of finger-picking on the acoustic guitar, with dynamic strumming and rhythmic techniques.
Packed into just four minutes, it’s a radio-friendly track teeming with universal appeal.
The singer, whose real name is Leo Ismail, has received ovations for his singularly unique vocal - with critics praising him as “outstanding”.
He’s left audiences beguiled with his ingenious use of his acoustic guitar as a percussive force.
‘Convictions’ is due out towards the end of December, 2013. It will feature nine tracks, including ‘Heartbeat’, a number of his other self-penned tracks and three remixes by British DJs.
Leo formed his current act in March, 2012, after a life-long devotion to learning the piano and guitar. He also plays for the band We Are Saviours.
