Who are they? They are Ummagma, a dreampop shoegaze crossover duo, whose music Pop Lifer describes as "The loveliest, most seductive dreampop since Engineers… with a more eclectic, fluid musical approach”, combining mesmerizing vocals, lush electronica and blissful resonant soundscapes of with striking parallels to Stereolab, Curve, Lush and Broadcast.

In 2013, they won the Alternative Eurovision, picked up two 2013 Australian Independent Music Video Awards, and were named Shoegaze Band of the Year according to Shoegaze Love. Robin Guthrie (Cocteau Twins) has also just completed a remix for them, due out in late spring.
