Could this be the biggest Loft Barbers Live Sessions yet?
BROTHER AND BONES ARE IN THE HOUSE!
Brother & Bones are predominantly a rock band but on AUGUST 30th, they will be LIVE and ACOUSTIC. Lead singer Rich, has been super busy touring with some guy that goes by the name of Ben Howard, but we somehow managed to pin them down, for one night only!
For anyone who hasn't heard of these guys (there can't be many!), here's a couple of videos to get you in the mood....
Supporting Brother and Bones will be singer/songwriter/guitarist Adam Isaac who has over 10 years experience as a gigging musician and has built a strong South West following in his earlier years.
He has played many venues and festivals around the UK, supported widely renowned chart toppers ASH, Toploader, Joss Stone and Sandi Thom, has been named brand ambassador for British freesports lifestyle brand 'Animal', and in 2012 Adam made it to the quarter final stages of BBC’s The Voice UK with the legendary Sir Tom Jones as coach. Following his TV appearance he released an album entitled ‘Train Tracks’, and has since been touring, playing both full band and acoustic shows. His edgy rock/pop sound draws influence from bands and artists like Muse, Coldplay, Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, David Gray, The Verve, Blur, Oasis, Stereophonics and more.
Energy is the operative word. Laid back and seemingly shy offstage, when it comes to performing, Adam explodes with a vehemence and intent that is hard to avoid being swept up within. Whether alone with a guitar and a stomp box or accompanied by a band, his rhythm-led playing and soaring vocals envelope his audience, creating a shared revelry between crowd and performer.Adam’s versatility allows him to perform in intimate acoustic atmospheres or full band, epic, high-energy shows.“For me, music is all about sharing energy with an audience; not being pretty around the edges, but going out there and capturing a moment with other people."
Opening this evening of stellar musical entertainment is Lottie Jones, a 17 year old singer songwriter from Exeter, Devon who was born into a home where touring musicians would come to stay over after gigs. From an early age Lottie would intently watch some of the industry's finest artists jamming into the early hours, picking up guitar chords and vocal harmonies from them, and eventually joining in herself.
Lottie's breathtaking vocals, combined with intimate, evocative lyrics written with a thoughtfulness which calls to mind artists like Daughter, Alela Diane and Joanna Newsom, have led to her supporting Irish platinum selling artist Gavin James, Craig Gallagher, Antonio Lulic and soulful Devon rockers The Tuesday Syndicate. Lottie's natural stage presence is already charismatic, often humorous and self deprecating.
The video of Lottie supporting platinum selling artist Gavin James garnered 8000 Facebook views in less than a week, and was given high praise by Joey Landreth, lead singer of Bob Harris favorites, Canadian soul folk band The Bros. Landreth, who shared Lottie's video clip, calling it simply 'beautiful!'. Lottie Jones is one of the most exciting emerging artists on the UK singer-songwriter scene, and it seems only a matter of time before she will be charming larger audiences.
As always we operate a strict SHHHHH Artist performing policy.
