NME – “…a band who’ve spent the past few years growing in strength; collecting their power and kicking down whatever doors have been stupid enough to stand in their way.”
KERRANG! ★★★★ – “Simply put, Don’t Wait ‘Til Tomorrow is an absolutely fantastic debut album from a band bursting with potential”
UPSET ★★★★ – “YONAKA feel like genuine rock mega-stars in waiting”
YONAKA have today announced they will be embarking on an extensive UK tour this November. The tour will see the band playing 11 dates all over the country, kicking off in the band’s home town of Brighton on November 8th, and will conclude at London’s Electric Brixton on November 27th, which will be the band’s largest headline show to date. O2 venue pre-sales are live now (please see ticket links below), and tickets go on general sale @ 10am on Thursday June 27th here: http://bit.ly/Yonaka19.
Last month YONAKA released their debut album, Don’t Wait ‘Til Tomorrow, which was the culmination of the past years’ work from the UK’s most exciting, and fastest-growing, debut rock bands. Lauded by critics and fans a-like for its explosive energy and hard-hitting subject matter, the album charted in the UK’s official Top 40 in its first week of release. The band recently announced their next single will be album highlight Rockstar. The track was recently tipped by Spotify on their “2019 Summer Song Predictions” shortlist alongside songs by some of the biggest artists in the world. The band, who recently signed to Fueled By Ramen, are also now pushing 1 million monthly listeners on the platform, up from 100K at the start of the year.
Coming off the back of their sold-out UK tour earlier this year the band now have a jam-packed summer schedule of festival appearances all over Europe. Full upcoming live dates can be seen below, and tickets will be available here: https://weareyonaka.com/.
‘Don’t Wait ‘Til Tomorrow’ is out now through Asylum Records.
