Never give up. Persevere. Go for what you want. Make sure you catch that train; run for the bus.
Make it happen. Chase life.
This is the message Colourshop espouse on their upcoming EP ‘Chasing Life’.
“‘Chasing life’ is about struggling with everyday challenges and life. Being a professional musician is really hard work – it’s not just plugging in your guitar and playing. We chose this life, and now it’s up to us to chase it”
The band are doing just that on the road throughout June 2014 in promotion of the new record, taking in the whole of Europe in the process.
Once they hit the UK, their set of dates includes an anticipated gig at The Great Escape Festival, Europe’s biggest showcase for new and acclaimed music.
‘Chasing Life’ delivers two new tracks, plus an acoustic and remix versions of ‘Sparks of Life’, taken from previous 2012 effort ‘Sparks’. 2013 saw them release ‘Canvas#1’ and embark on the ‘No Artificial Colours Added’ tour across the UK, Poland, Germany, Italy, Russia. All this from Diego and Alfredo, two brothers from the hills surrounding Rome, who’s united love of music was cultivated after they picked up their father's Bulgarian red guitar and at the tender age of 5 and 9. Now based in London, their chase has already seen them hone their craft for song writing through playing countless shows and festivals. Their uniqueness is driven by their Latin roots. Compelling melodies and a synergy between the two brothers enables them to deliver amazing harmonies and tightness live, setting them apart from the competition. Truly multi-national, truly colourful: Colourshop are non-stop in the pursuit of their dreams.
