COSM announce ‘Black Holes’ UK Tour — A new era of Psych‑Gaze ambition

April 1, 2026

There’s a particular kind of band whose sound feels less like a collection of songs and more like a weather system rolling in. South West psych‑gaze quartet COSM have been quietly building that reputation over the past few years — and this spring, they’re taking it on the road for their ‘Black Holes’ UK Tour, celebrating the release of their shimmering new single Black Holes.

The timing couldn’t be better. With a slot already locked in for Boardmasters Festival 2026, COSM are stepping into a new chapter, one defined by bigger ideas, deeper textures and a confidence that radiates through every second of the new track.

Black Holes is the band’s first release of the year, and it lands like a statement of intent. COSM have always excelled at atmosphere — their self‑titled debut EP introduced a band fluent in haze, harmony and emotional weight — but this new single pushes everything further outward.

Shimmering guitars ripple like heatwaves, vocals drift in dream‑pop spirals, and the whole track feels suspended between nostalgia and something boldly future‑facing. It’s cathartic, widescreen, and unmistakably COSM.

If the single hints at expansion, the live shows promise full immersion. COSM’s gigs have become known for their blend of Fuzzy, psychedelic guitar riffs, Sparkling vocal harmonies, Soaring, expressive solos and A dreamlike, enveloping atmosphere

It’s a sound that nods to ’90s shoegaze and dream pop while weaving in modern indie rock and psychedelic flourishes — a palette that will resonate with fans of Ride, DIIV, NewDad, Wolf Alice, Alvvays, Beach Fossils, Keane and Lush.

Here’s where you can catch COSM as they bring Black Holes to life on stage:

Whether you’re already deep in the COSM universe or discovering them for the first time, these shows are shaping up to be something special — intimate, atmospheric, and charged with the energy of a band levelling up in real time.
