Exeter band STELLA MARTYR will soon be filling up the tour bus with diesel, stocking up on savouries and hitting the road 'oop North' to play a couple of shows in Manchester and Scunthorpe.
This will be the first time that they have ventured out of their home city to play live, judging by the gigs we've attended and covered recently, I'm sure they'll have no problem in winning over the audiences.
If you want a taste of what to expect, please check out a recent LIVE REVIEW that we did. You can also read a very informative and entertaining INTERVIEW that we did with them before the Exeter show
Manchester on Thursday 7th April at Aatma
Scunthorpe on Friday 8th April at Café INDIEpendent
For the two dates in April, they will be taking along their local friends HER who have been featured on BBC introducing, they're a fantastic band and well worth checking out so make sure you get there early to catch their set.
Making up this stellar lineup is Annie Rew Shaw, a pianist, singer and songwriter from Devon.
Now living in North London, inspired by the likes of Bon Iver, Daughter and Lykke Li, Annie's music has a distinct combination of powerful, classic songwriting with a tinge of melancholia and theatricality.
Having seen and covered all 3 of these acts locally in Exeter, I can honestly say that you're in for an evening of amazing music, performed by talented acts from start to finish.
Stella Martyr have also been confirmed for the Shiiine on weekend in Minehead in November , there are a few other festivals still to be announced so please keep an eye on their social media.
