Influenced by the likes of Ben Howard, Fleetwood Mac and Biffy Clyro, ENNOR’s high octane sound is uniquely balanced with their folk roots from journeys across the southwest and a longing for the Cornish sea.

Leaving the far coast of Penzance, writer-singer Tom Elliot came together with guitarist Jack Rennie, bassist James Creed and drummer Adam Williams while on the long road to London. Taking their namesake from the sunken kingdom that formed the Isles of Scilly, ENNOR released 2016 debut EP Polaroids to the acclaim of BBC Introducing in both Devon and Cornwall - culminating this summer with performances at Boardmasters and a headline slot at Sidmouth Fringe Festival alongside rising talents Bryde and Flyte.

Radio is a song that compares the daily grind of city life against the memories of hazy summer days in the great outdoors. Produced by long-term collaborator Sandro Giacometti and recorded with Sam Winfield (Amber Run, The Amazons) at Studio 91, Radio is an uplifting, driving rock song that evokes the nostalgia of summer as we now move into the darkening days of autumn. Tom says:

“I wrote Radio while landlocked in a tiny London bedsit. The dreary speed of the city was quite overwhelming. While I had mates who thrived in the fast-paced money- making world, I felt more comfortable with the fresh air, energy and people from back home on the coast of West Cornwall. Radio is about looking back to move forwards, about feeling lost but knowing exactly where you’re headed next.”

After spending the summer touring the southwest, with highlights including the Eden Project and Isles of Scilly, ENNOR return to London with a headline release show at Notting Hill Arts Club on October 6th. Tickets are on sale now.
