FourEver is an American Pop group made up of four young men, Jarrod Allen on Vocals and Guitars, Chris Wise on Bass and Vocals, Brad Natianel on Drums, & Brett James on Guitar. Their debut E.P can best be described as Organic Pop blended with slick production elements. We were keen to find out a bit more about the group, read on to see how we got on....
We know you're a four piece band, we know that you play your own instruments, please would you tell us something about the band that not many people know....
Jarrod: Yes we are a playing band (not a boy band). Brad and Brett are Brothers from Chicago and Chris and I are both from Florida. Not too many people knew we have a pair of talented bros in our band…
Tell me a bit about the early days, how and when did you form?
Jarrod: Brad and Brett were the first two members who met our manager Johnny Vieira. He approached them about wanting to help put a band together of Teenage musicians who could really write and play some great music. The brothers were also looking for a project at the time so they jumped on board. Johnny had already met me in Nashville and we then recruited the final member Chris Wise from watching his hot shot youtube videos. He’s the real cocky one in the band haha! Our manager brought us all together to Nashville to start creating what would become the FourEver Sound. We don't pigeon hole ourselves to only one sound. You will hear a variety on our debut E.P
Which bands or acts have made an impression on you musically?
Band: We love everyone from The Eagles and Guns 'n' Roses to Justin Bieber and The Rolling Stones. We all just like great artists, bands and musicians. We don’t care what genre as long as it’s coming from the heart.
Are you all actively involved in the songwriting process? If so, how do you approach this?
Brett: Yes, we all give our input and several of us write songs on our own. Johnny Vieira (manager) came from the writing and producing side of the music industry so he helps a lot. Also, we just got to record a song by the legendary songwriter Billy Steinberg who wrote Madonna’s Like A Virgin, The Pretenders “I’ll Stand By You”, Demi Lovato “Give Your Heart a Break” and wrote the classic song “True Colours”. He’s amazing and he wrote a song called “Lift Your Spirit” for us that we recently recorded. It will be available on Spotify at the end of this month
Christmas 2016 has been and gone, were you all good boys and what did Santa bring you? Any gifts from your fans?
Chris: Just a whole lot of love and support from lots of new fans. That’s the best gift of all. And we can't wait to give it back once we get on the road this year…
Festival season kicks off in a couple of months, will you be playing any this year? If so, which ones are confirmed already?
Band: The Hangout Festival is looking like a possibility but we are just figuring all that stuff out now. We will definitely keep all the fans updated on our social media
If you could collaborate with a musician (dead/alive/fictional) who would it be and why?
Brad: We would love to of played with John Lennon, Prince or Michael Jackson. U2 and 5SOS would be amazing as well. We still have a shot with those guys.
If you could only play 3 CD’s for the rest of your lives, which would they be and why?
Band: Haha, there’s no way to answer that question. The four of us have pretty different tastes but we would all agree it would be an eclectic mix of Rock, Pop and Soul…
Have you made any new year’s resolutions for 2017?
Definitely to get better as a band and as songwriters and musicians and to give back to our great fans who are supporting us.
Tell us your best joke....
What do you call a bear with no teeth? - A gummy bear!
I wondered why the Frisbee was getting bigger and then it hit me....
2016 was quite a sad year for celebrities passing, Bowie, Prince, George Michael to name just 3, which do you feel left the biggest legacy?
Chris: I don’t think we could say. All three of those artists were particularly influential in our lives and so many others around the world. R.I.P to all three. We love you guys and will listen to your music for years and years…
You’re based in America, what message would you like to get out there to fans who AREN’T based there? Any plans to tour outside of the USA anytime soon?
Jarrod: We want to say thanks for all your love and support and we plan to come and play for as many cities as possible over the next year or two. Please know that we want to meet as many of you as we can in person so look for us in your town soon…
Please finish this sentence, "2017 is going to be an incredible year for FourEver because"
Band: Well with how everyone is responding to our songs this early on, we know this will be an amazing Journey for all of us and the fans and early believers. And we are only teenagers (17 to 19 years old) so we know we will only grow as a band. We have also only been together a little under a year so look for us to really hit our stride in 2017.
We love you guys, thanks for being part of the FourEver Family….
We wish the guys every success and look forward to catching them on their world tour in the (hopefully) not too distant future.... In the meantime, you can find out all about them via their social media sites which are all listed below.
