R&B artist, Bemendé, is steadily establishing herself as a force to be reckoned with in the music community.

One of the most notable qualities that Bemendé exhibits is her ability as a songwriter. The lyrics to her music read just like a page out of a diary. There is no tip toeing around her truth. She simply lays out her thoughts and emotions as they are happening or have happened.

She sings these lyrics in her song ‘SOULTIES’. a song about not being able to let go of someone that isn’t good for you. She manages to perfectly relay that sentiment over a jazzy, R&B-tinged track that perfectly conveys a lonely, broken hearted night in the middle of a sleeping city.
Bemendé is definitely a powerhouse and has all the necessary tools to achieve longevity. Her soulful voice and gifted songwriting abilities guarantee her a spot on my playlist.
