On Friday 5th March, Fyfe Dangerfield frontman of Mercury Prize and BRIT Award nominated band Guillemots releases The Birdwatcher EP, his first body of work in a decade.

Soaring title track 'Birdwatcher' is also unveiled on the 5th, following praise from first single 'Woah! Life' from 6Music and Sunday Times Culture saying it "reminds you how haunting, heart tugging and texturally inventive his sound sculptures can be".

Having chosen to feverishly create his music in private for the last decade, Fyfe has recently been populating his new digital home Channels May Change with content for his fans to download and sample for free. Its flagship offering has been Birdwatcher, a 12 part series of audio episodes made up of a surreal mix of music, songs, sounds and characters. It is some of these songs that were chosen to form this EP and kick off a year that will include a raft of official releases from Fyfe alongside the channel's stream of free goodies.
