Anchored by a minimal beat amidst pulsing synths and stuttering drums, ‘Pluto’ is the debut offering from Australian native, Grace - out now via Liberation Music.
Produced by Dave Sitek (TV On The Radio), Pluto is an emphatic statement of things to come and see’s Grace swinging from restrained menace to impassioned cries, all entwined by a voice that resonates with gripping intimacy.
The captivating visual counterpart for Pluto, directed by renowned creative duo, Toby & Pete (Flume, Disclosure) is a first peak into the fittingly abstract world of Grace and sees her cocooned inside a gauzy monochrome setting, perfectly synched to the tracks sparse verses and pop-charged chorus.
Grace closed out 2014 by releasing a BASECAMP re-mix of ‘Pluto’ alongside supporting Glass Animals on their national tour of Australia. Grace will also play Australia’s Secret Garden and Hills Are Alive Festivals in February and March this year. These dates follow her run supporting Alt-J, on the band's headline tour of Australia at the end of 2014.
