Singer/songwriter Harry Pane has unveiled the beautiful video for his new single ‘Changing’, the title track from his recently released EP.
Filmed in tranquil forest surroundings, the video features Harry Pane performing alone around a flickering campfire. The serene woodland paradise complements the enchanting tones and affirming ‘Changing’ lyrics that reminisce on Harry’s close relationship with his father and address issues of mental health. Sadly, his father passed away following the release of the Changing EP, which features his portrait on its cover.
Elsewhere on Changing, there’s a resonating sense of Americana with the reverberating ‘Ghosts’, meanwhile the beautiful ‘Karma’s Prey’ is a worldly example of Pane’s poignant songwriting, delivering an optimistic sheen to a bleak intimate moment. It’s juxtaposed with the haymaker-blues EP closer ‘Cold Light Of Day’, which completes this bold statement of intent from one of the most promising new talents on the music scene.
Based in Walthamstow, by way of Northamptonshire, Harry Pane was flown out to Valencia, Spain to record the Changing EP at Studio Barxeta after impressing producer Dani Castelar (Paolo Nutini, REM, Snow Patrol). Pane then returned to E17 to have the EP finalised with mastering from Mandy Parnell (The xx, LCD Soundsystem, John Marytn).
