Ilkley Jazz Festival will be running from 15th to 19th August 2018 this year, for their fifth and biggest festival yet. They have 29 acts, including Alina Bzhezhinska, Beverley Beirne and Esther Bennett, performing in over 10 venues around the town, including Monkmans Bistro and The Ticket Office Bar. The other big news is that this year is that they are commissioning a suite of music to celebrate 5 years of Ilkley Jazz Festival and Ilkley in general. It will be based on the landscape of Ilkley, with collaborations with some Ilkley artists and the composer Jamil Sheriff.
The event has grown annually since its humble beginnings and remains a firm favourite in the Ilkley Summer Festival, which runs through the whole of August.
