The brand-new single by Bristol based Bigman & The Birdseeds has been released in the form of a revolutionary anthem against the traditional working system. Titled ‘I Don’t Wanna Work… NEVER!’, the Bristol-based indie rock trio start this tune as they mean to go on, with a filthy guitar riff, reminiscent of the iconic Led Zeppelin. Straight away, we know we’re dealing with a monster of a track here.
The heavy bass then enters the soundscape along with some emphatic drumming that you can feel in your chest. Bigman himself then comes in with his snarling remarks of anger towards the establishment and the conventions of the working world.
After three verses of riling up the crowd at the protest, Bigman gives us an electrifying guitar solo that The Hives would be proud of, before Matteo’s light, tapping drum beat takes us into the bridge section of the song. This part builds up slowly, getting heavier and heavier as the guitar becomes more erratic, the drums get louder, the tempo picks up some serious speed and Bigman is basically shouting into the face of ‘the man’. This is the climax of the song and seemingly the end… until Matteo appears out of nowhere with a marching band-style beat, and the bass guitar enters with a gritty, hellish bass line. Then Bigman comes in chanting ‘I don’t wanna go to work’ for the last minute of the track.
This call for revolution is a noisy one, and Bigman & The Birdseeds want you to take note, and take action!
