We chatted to Tom A. Smith earlier this year via a ZOOM call and given the opportunity to meet him in the flesh, I was never going to say no!

Tom had been selected by JAMES to support them at the Summer Sessions that took place on Thursday 12 June 2025 at The Hoe, owing to traffic, I missed his set but everyone who saw it said that he is certainly a future star in the making and looking at his track record, he’s well on his way to super-stardom.

I chatted to Tom after his set, in his dressing room whilst his dinner was getting cold, we covered myriad of topics including signing to the Fiction record label, new material in the pipeline, his summer of shows up and down the country and drinking in Union Street!
