Rack out a big line of pink whizz! 90's guitar sensations Senseless Things have announced a one-off concert at Shepherds Bush Empire on 25th March 2017 - marking the first time the four members of the band have played together since 1995.
Stalwarts of the live scene in the early ‘90’s and known for hits such as Easy To Smile, Too Much Kissing, Homophobic Asshole, Hold it Down and Got it At The Delmar, Senseless Things disbanded in '95 with the four members going on to play in various other guises and outfits.
Mark Keds - now currently fronting his new band Deadcuts - formed both Jolt and The Lams in addition to working with Peter Doherty, co-writing The Libertines track Can't Stand Me Now. Deadcuts have just scored their biggest hit to date, “Aries” collaborating with Brooklyn outfit Flatbush Zombies which features on the new Marvel “Black Panther” series.
Cass Browne formed Delakota, before joining the hugely successful animated-band Gorillaz as both live drummer and scriptwriter. In addition to playing with Penguin Cafe, he is now also part of Keds' dark n’ deadly Deadcuts line-up, currently finishing their sophomore LP.
That Morgan Nicholls released his own solo record under the name M. Organ, before joining up with various artists including Vent 414 and The Streets, in addition to performing with The Who at the 2012 Olympics. Nicholls currently plays live with stadium-botherers Muse.
Guitarist Ben Harding went on to join 3 Colours Red, who toured extensively and signed to Alan McGee's Creation label, scoring two top 20 LPs and all of three seconds on the soundtrack of Kill Your Friends. He currently plays with rabble-rousers Thee Faction and the soon-to-be legendary The Charlemagnes.
The Senseless Things Night at The Empire show, promoted by CrossTown Concerts, promises to be a unique night of fun and fury, with the band being joined by exceptionally special guests, and friends old and new. Supports to be announced soon.
