Ian Kilminster AKA Lemmy from the rock band Motorhead has died aged 70.
Formed back in 1975, the band were probably best known for their 1980 single 'Ace of Spades' which spawned a whole load of new bands after hearing them play.
His loud, fast playing style accompanied by his gravelly vocals pitched the 3 piece at levels never seen before for a rock band.
On the band's Facebook page, they urge you to go play some Motorhead LOUD, which is just what I'll be doing this evening when I get home from work. In the meantime, here is Motorhead with the classic 'Ace of Spades'.....RIP Lemmy, the coolest motherfucker in rock n' roll!
