Now taking place across two-days for the first time ever, Lemonfest returns to Newton Abbot Racecourse on 9th-10th June for it’s 8th year. The fiercely independent festival has a rapidly growing reputation, and remains 100% self funded by the two founders - who are childhood friends. An eclectic mix of entertainment is split across 6 stages, whilst an array of bars and food stalls sell irresistible local produce from around the West country.

Hosting acts such as Ben Howard, Alabama 3, The Subways and Dub Pistols in the past and being nominated for a slew of awards including 'Best Small Festival', 'Best Family Festival' and 'Best Toilets', you'll be pleased to hear that this year's lineup is as varied and incredible as ever.
This year sees the launch of ‘The Shack’ – a Florida Everglades themed House & Techno stage headlined on Friday night by one of 2016’s breakthrough House DJs Jasper James, and underground dance-music stalwart Subb-An on the Saturday night.
Also joining this years already big line-up are two of Bristol’s finest live acts… Dr Meaker will headline the Locally Grown Stage on Saturday night, bringing their unique brand of Soulful Drum & Bass to the 2nd stage. They will be joined by The Allergies – the finest Funk purveyors the South West has to offer.
Other acts added include Fuse London’s Chris Maran, Devon’s very own mod-squad The Vinyl Avengers, plus everyone’s favourite Ice Cream Van Soundsystem Mr Whompy.

Lemonfest 2017 welcomes over 120+ acts across 6 x diverse stages; the always eclectic MAIN STAGE, the Funk & Soul come Drum & Bass BIG TOP, it’s brand new house & techno stage THE SHACK, the LOCALLY GROWN STAGE for SW based acts, it’s very own cabaret pub THE HAIRY BEAVER; plus MR WHOMPY.
2016 saw nearly 5,000 people attend the festival’s 7th year –which hosted an array of top local, national, and international DJs and bands across it’s 6 x diverse stages of music.
Lemonfest 2017 takes place on 9th-10th June at Newton Abbot Racecourse.
