Kinck, (full name Stine Manda Kinck) is a dynamic music producer, artist, and songwriter from Copenhagen with roots in Denmark and Senegal. Busy making waves in the global music scene, Kinck is known for her unique blend of heavy beats, quirky melodies, and snappy lyrics. Her innovative sound is increasingly sought after by major brands worldwide.
Kinck reflects on the journey behind her latest single "Play With It," highlighting the challenges and rewards of being an indie artist. "Sometimes being an indie artist can be really tough because you have to do everything yourself as you're not working with the same big budgets that the labels are," she explains. Despite these challenges, she values the myriad of skills she's acquired over time, considering them a superpower. "Play With It" encapsulates the artist reclaiming this power, allowing her to reconnect with raw creativity without industry pressures dictating what's relevant or cool. “I think a lot of females work more alone in the industry because a lot of the social dynamics that are gatekeeping the industry, are created around groups of men, and I have been forced to learn so many different skills through my career because of lack of finance entrance to the rooms that could change my career. This has now become a superpower that makes me unstoppable, and has given me a freedom to create a career exactly how I see it. This is the greatest gift to myself as an artist.”
