‘Vacation’ is the latest addition to Theresa’s vibrant sound. It’s an upbeat, fun, and infectiously vibrant energetic bop that evokes the lively spirit of a Madonna soundtrack. The song was born during a relaxing stay at the Beloved Playa Mujeres resort in Mexico, where the lyrics and melody began to form in the most unexpected place – the bathroom.

The catchy refrain, “vacation….vacation…let’s get away on holiday,” came to the artist spontaneously and stayed with her throughout the trip. In March 2023, the song truly came to life during a songwriting trip to LA, where the artist collaborated with Lu D of Mystery Skulls. Together, they crafted this energetic tune in just a few hours. With the final production touches from Mike MacAllister, ‘Vacation’ radiates those perfect vacation vibes, capturing the essence of a much-needed getaway. The song's infectious beat, catchy melody, and unwaveringly optimistic lyrics make it the perfect soundtrack as Summer rolls in. 

Speaking on the inspiration spark for ‘Vacation’, Theresa shares, “I pretty much wrote all the lyrics and most of the melody in my head that trip. When working with Lu D, I shared my vision with him and we created an infectious bop in just a couple of hours. It’s such a special song and I’m actually happy that it took a little longer to finish as I do think it was worth the wait!"

In her early twenties, Theresa was part of a band called The Yips, performing around NYC. Although those times were more about fun than serious pursuit, they laid the groundwork for her current appreciation of performing.
