London-based singer/songwriter/pianist Jodie Abacus releases "I'll Be That Friend (Tobtok Remix)." Swedish producer Tobtok adds tropical house vibes and jubilant instrumentals to create the high-energy remix, which is now available at all digital service providers.
"I'll Be That Friend (Tobtok Remix)" serves as the follow up to the original release of the track, which Complex declares as…. "[an uplifting gem]…his particular blend of funk and soul [earns] comparisons to Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, and Michael Jackson, among others." NME calls the song, "[an] upbeat soul jam." The original version of the track has been streamed over 2 million times on Spotify and has recently been added to the A-list on BBC's Radio 2. The track is also continuing to get spot plays on Radio 1, 1Xtra, Kiss and Captial Xtra.
