Live at Powderham: Devon’s biggest summer weekender levels up the fan experience....

March 13, 2026

There’s something special about the way summer settles over Powderham Castle. The air gets softer, the estuary glows, and the whole estate feels like it’s waiting for music to roll across the grounds. This June, TK Maxx presents Live at Powderham returns for four huge nights — and organisers have just revealed a wave of upgrades designed to make the South West’s biggest outdoor music event smoother, greener, and more accessible than ever.

Running from Thursday 25 June to Sunday 28 June, the series brings three major headliners to Devon’s doorstep: Teddy Swims, Alanis Morissette, and Lewis Capaldi, who plays not one but two nights after last year’s rapid sell‑outs. But this week’s announcement isn’t about the artists — it’s about the journey.

If you’ve ever tried to get thousands of people in and out of a historic estate without chaos, you’ll know it’s no small feat. This year, Live at Powderham is going big on sustainable, stress‑free travel:

  • Big Green Coach will run return services from Torquay, Okehampton, Newton Abbot, Plymouth and more — ideal for fans who want to skip the car entirely.

  • GWR is adding extra trains to and from Starcross, just a 15‑minute stroll from the arena.

  • Dedicated taxi and private‑car drop‑off hubs at Exeter Racecourse and Winslade Manor will keep traffic away from the estate itself, with shuttle buses running fans directly to the site.

  • A free bike lock‑up encourages locals to pedal in along the estuary.

These join the already‑announced Exeter city centre shuttles and official park & ride, all part of a push to make public transport the default choice for most attendees.

For the first time, Live at Powderham is offering an on‑site campsite — a proper festival‑style setup where fans can pitch their own tent, roll in with a campervan, or opt for pre‑pitched glamping. Unsurprisingly, spaces are already close to selling out.

It’s a big step for the event, transforming it from a run of standalone concerts into a full‑blown weekend experience. Expect late‑night chatter, early‑morning coffee queues, and that unmistakable feeling of waking up in a field knowing you’ve got another huge show ahead.

VIP tickets for Lewis Capaldi’s Saturday and Sunday shows are almost gone, with general admission for Saturday also running low. New VIP upgrades have now been added for Teddy Swims (Thursday) and Alanis Morissette (Friday), but they’re only available to fans who already hold GA tickets.

If you’re planning to go big, now’s the moment.

One of the most quietly meaningful updates is the festival’s new charity initiative. Organisers are selecting a different Devon‑based charity for each night, giving them space on site to raise funds and awareness. It’s a simple idea, but one that roots the event firmly in the community it serves.

Cuffe and Taylor co‑founder Peter Taylor says the team has been working flat‑out to elevate the fan experience this year:

“The new travel and transport arrangements mean there are options to suit everyone. It’s exciting to see so many ticket options sold or selling out — we can’t wait to bring Teddy Swims, Alanis Morissette and Lewis Capaldi to the beautiful Devon countryside.”

With the countdown officially on, Powderham is gearing up for its biggest summer yet — a blend of global stars, local energy, and one of the most picturesque live‑music backdrops in the country.
