The Loft Barbers Lounge in Exeter have an excellent track record in providing world class musical entertainment once a month at their Loft Live Sessions event that takes place just 15 minutes from the centre of Exeter. Looking back over the past few months, they have hosted Canadian alt-country stars The Bros. Landreth, platinum award winning Irish singer songwriter Gavin James, the absurdly talented Luke Concannon and London based rock act Brother & Bones, quite a selection of fine artists and bands I'm sure you'll agree.

So, WHY is it that the Loft Live Sessions sells out time and time again, why do people want to return to the venue over and over again? I guess you could say that the Loft Sessions are not your average gig, think 'Game Of Thrones' combined with live, modern day music set in an oil lantern adorned medieval barn overlooking the rolling Devon Hills and you may start to crack the code. Guests can sit in front of a roaring log fire, sipping a glass of wine or one of the many beers, ales or ciders on offer and enjoy some of the very best touring acts in the UK. The acts for the October Loft Sessions have been confirmed as the amazing Cornish folk/rock band Haunt The Woods with support from London based Anna Pancaldi & local legend Matt Sellors, read on to find out more about them....

Haunt the Woods are looking forward to exciting times ahead after such a successful 2015.

The last year has been very busy for the band, supporting the likes of Sunset Sons, Dry the River and KT Tunstall, a main stage performance at Boardmasters festival, packing out local residency shows in Plymouth and even an appearance on Chris Evans' TFI Friday. They have now recorded a brand new EP and previewed it to just some of their ever growing fanbase at a sold out home town show.

Haunt the Woods are an alternative folk/rock band hailing from Devon and Cornwall. With a new and unique sound that combines their love of traditional and modern folk music along with three and four part harmonies and spellbinding guitar, their live show really captures the energy and essence of the bands' love and passion for music.

Anna Pancaldi's second EP 'Dear Joey,' released in early April 2016 rose to #3 in the singer songwriter iTunes charts following on from her debut EP 'Black Tears' released in March 2015 which charted at #6 and also sold out both London headline shows at Servant Jazz Quarters and St Pancras Old Church.

Recently off tour in Europe supporting Jake Isaac, Anna just completed her first US tour playing NYC, Nashville and L.A. also performing live on CBS LA TV.
