Long Island-based band Hold Fast Hope, after years of playing shows in their local New York area, have released their debut EP, ‘Traitors’.
With their mix of alternative and post-hardcore rhythms- Hold Fast Hope broke onto the Long Island music scene in early 2016 with their debut single ‘Fortune Favors’, since then the 4-piece has gone on to perform a number of shows across Long Island, NYC & New Jersey including performances at Citi Field opening up for a Mets game in the main rotunda and New Jersey Fringe Festival.
The highlighted single from the EP, ‘Fade’, which was released in February, delves into themes of sadness, being stifled, in between, and uncertainty. The opening track ‘Ripple’- sets the tone for the EP and ‘Traitor PT I’ – with its different sound effects in the bridge – is the heaviest track of the album
The band in promotion of ‘Traitors’’ held a 3-day release show and also hope to embark on tour later in the year. Currently writing new music and they are also planning for a music video release to accompany the EP.
‘Traitors’ is out NOW.
