After her global smash hit ‘Pretty Girl’ hit the Top 10 and was certified Gold or Platinum in twelve key countries, Maggie Lindemann continues to prove that she is one of pop music’s newest pop heroines. The 19-year-old artist has today shared a new lyric video for her current single ‘Obsessed’ (via 300 Entertainment / Parlophone). Recently picked as Scott Mills’ Tune of the Week on Radio 1, the track has already exceeded 13 million streams.
“’Obsessed’ is about being with someone who only really cares about themselves,” says Maggie. “Being with someone physically, but not being able to be with them mentally or emotionally... it’s more of a play on words and a cheeky song because in the end I sing ‘I’m obsessed with myself too.’”
Having accumulated over 400 million global streams while garnering the attention from the likes of Vogue, People, NYLON and Cosmopolitan, there’s no denying Maggie Lindemann is quickly becoming one of pop music’s most exciting new stars.
Her previous pop juggernaut ‘Pretty Girl’ is now certified Platinum in the UK, Australia and Italy; double-Platinum in Ireland and Norway; triple-Platinum in Sweden; and Gold in the United States. Its profile was boosted by a remix courtesy of her 300Entertainment / Parlophone label mates Cheat Codes.
‘Pretty Girl’ has generated over 350 million streams at Spotify, where it catapulted Maggie Lindemann’s monthly listeners to over 18 million a month. It ended the year as the 28th highest selling single of 2017.

Outside of music, The New York Times recently revealed that Maggie Lindemann has partnered with luxury make-up brand Pat McGrath for the ‘So Obsessed’ campaign (#SoObsessed), a collection of liquid matte lipsticks which are available exclusively via Maggie’s Spotify profile. The campaign aims to celebrate artistic expression and individuality, and the partnership with Maggie was a natural fit as she encapsulates Pat McGrath's ethos of constantly looking to inspire and create.
