Eclectic London-based 'Gyp-step' band Molotov Jukebox are proud to present the accompanying video to their track 'Neon Lights', starring a stellar cast from popular HBO series Game Of Thrones, which just had its premiere on MTV Iggy.
Aside from featuring the flamboyant six-piece's feisty frontwoman - multi-talented singer, actress and fashion icon Natalia Tena (Harry Potter and Game of Thrones) - the proudly feminist video focuses on the gritty tale of a dancer, portrayed by actress and model Oona Chaplin (Game of Thrones), who is forced to defend her honour against an inappropriately tactile customer in the workplace.
The track itself blends soulful harmonies, spacey sounds and a fanfare-like riff for a track that is mellow one moment and anthemic the next. Thanks to tremendous support on Pledge.com, the band were also able to incorporate the talents of a full-blooded 7-piece brass section, who add some serious power to the already epic drums and bass. Tena says of the track:
“Neon is our ode to Mistress London, who is a massive bitch but our best friend. She's home.”
The group are set to release their new album 'Carnival Flower' this March.
