Kat Hasty opened up for Morgan Wade, hailing from West Texas she is a singer-songwriter but with only a short set it was hard to guage her potential but one song that really stood out was ‘Burn it Down’ which was really well received.
When Morgan Wade took to the stage to perform her all acoustic show to a capacity audience at Bristol’s Trinity venue, she didn’t disappoint.
Accompanying her on stage was guitarist Clint Wells, they gelled effortlessly to create an incredible sound which sounded even better with the venue’s natural acoustics.
Playing songs from her latest album Reckless which kicked off with ‘Run’ which carved a sonic path through to songs such as ‘Psychopath’, ‘The Night’ before closing with the brilliant’ Wilder Days’, which saw the audience joining in.
The show was fabulous with only one incident which was caused by the overwhelming heat inside the venue, Clint Wells took time during the show to remind people to hydrate regularly (with water!)
With her highly anticipated sophomore record ‘Psychopath’ penned for release on August 25th. there’s plenty to be excited about, tonight was an incredible show and who knows, she may be back on UK shores to promote the new record after festival season, just keep your eyes on her socials for more news as it breask.
