French collective Nouvelle Vague is back — and they’re bringing their signature bossa nova shimmer to UK stages this November for a 16-date celebration of their genre-defying legacy.
Marking 21 years since their cult-classic debut, the tour promises a dreamlike journey through post-punk and new wave reimaginings, stitched together with French sophistication and a rotating cast of magnetic vocalists. Expect velvet reinterpretations of Joy Division, The Clash, and Depeche Mode, alongside fresh cuts from their latest album, Should I Stay Or Should I Go.
Founded by Marc Collin and the late Olivier Libaux, Nouvelle Vague has always been more than a band — it’s a living, breathing art project. This year’s touring ensemble features Mélanie Pain and Phoebe Killdeer on lead vocals until 17th November, with Shanice “Alyona” Sloan and Marine Quéméré stepping in from the 17th onward. The full band includes Collin (keys), Jérôme Pichon (guitar), Julien Boye (drums), and Oliver Smith (double bass).
Special guests vary by location, with select shows featuring DeLaurentis, Phoebe Killdeer & The Shift, and Mélanie Pain in solo mode.
