Ohio’s The Plot In You will be joining The Amity Affliction on their imminent UK & European Tour plus they’ll be supporting Underoath on their US tour this Autumn. Heralding the forthcoming onslaught of tour dates, the band also recently released a new music video for ‘The One You Loved’, which is a track from their latest album ‘DISPOSE’, out now on Fearless Records.
The visually arresting, gold-drenched clip was directed by the band’s drummer Mathis Arnell, who has creatively spearheaded every video for the album’s release. "The song has a very intimate feel to it and touches on a lot of emotional topics,” he says of ‘The One You Loved’. “So, I wanted something that would reflect that visually — without having to be too specific and literal. People from all walks of life can relate to the lyrics, so it made sense to represent that with a bunch of different imagery expressing an array of emotions." Vocalist Landon Tewers adds "This track was the last to make it to the record, it explores thedynamic of disconnect and dissonance in a toxic unfixable relationship."
