OOFJ recently released their album 'Acute Feast', see what we thought....

June 13, 2015

Dannish Jenno Bjørnkjær’s and South African Katherine Mills-Rymer artistic and real life duo, based in Los Angeles released a new album on the 21st April by Fake Diamonds Records that goes beyond synth-pop tunes with rich instrumentation and high sound quality. Acute Feast, aptly titled, creates a cinematic, electrifying atmosphere that despite its claustrophobic sound utilises skilfully a pitch range that transforms every piece of sound into a different frame.

The album affirms Jenno's reputation as a multi-instrumentalist as well as his statement about striving to “maintain the emotional, romantic tone and mix it with crazy drums – or something that you don’t expect”. Combined with Katherine's dreamy, airy vocals, this electro-pop, 10 track album blends perfectly emotions, loops and beats into a set of surreal compositions that even provoke some tension to the listener with lyrics such as "move your lips up my thigh"in "Snakehips".

Acute Feast will not only immerse you in romance and eroticism, but will also push you over the edge of unexplored psyche levels.
