‘The Only One’ is the new single from Sheffield’s finest, Reverend And The Makers, due for release in Cooking Vinyl records on 10th March 2014.
Produced by Youth(Primal Scream, Depeche Mode,The Verve) and dance producer James Welsh (Hypercolour Records), it’s taken from the band’s forthcoming fourth album ‘ThirtyTwo’.
The song is about a personal battle with jealousy and its complexities – and the fact that it’s an emotion that doesn’t get easier with age.
The video is directed by the legendary photographer Roger Sargent and is aesthetically homage to the Eighties’.
Following on from the huge success of the Reverend Summer Ale which sold out everywhere the band have collaborated again with Thornbridge Brewery to produce the Reverend American Brown Ale which will launch at the Craft Beer Rising festival which takes place at the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane, London from21st to 23rd February 2014. Jon and Ed from the band will play a DJ set on the Friday evening before heading off on a UK tour.
