19 year-old Glaswegian KLOE has released her brand new track UDSM (You Don’t See Me) on Columbia Records. The accompanying video emulates a real life scenario KLOE experienced when she was 18 and all the drama which surrounded that time in her life. UDSM is part one of a two part narrative, the second track and video of which will follow in the coming weeks.
KLOE said, “I am so proud to present Part 1 of my 2 part video story, UDSM. I wrote the song at the tail end of last year after being humiliated by a boy in a bar in Camden. I had just begun to go out in London and was experiencing chaotic city life for the first time. I was 18, new to the industry and full of wonder. So after he kissed some girl, without a second thought, I ran out of the bar and walked around Camden alone crying my eyes out. All I wanted to do was get absolutely obliterated. I wanted to show people - the vulnerable, naive side of me.”
Following the success of her Glaswegian club night Blakout and having dreamt about playing the festival since she was 15, KLOE has been given a whole stage to herself to curate at this years T In The Park. The line-up features home grown talent from the likes of Prides, FCK Yes, Model Aeroplanes, Crash Club and a live set from KLOE herself. The Blakout stage will also feature a DJ set by Radio 1’s Huw Stephens.
Earlier this year KLOE played sets at SXSW, The Great Escape, School Night in LA, the Drake Hotel in Toronto and a Communion show in NYC. Following T In The Park KLOE will also play the following summer festival dates:
