Spike and The Gimme Gimmes bring punk rock cheer with their festive new offering, "All I Want For Christmas is You"

November 20, 2025

Do you remember years ago when Rage Against The Machine reached the coveted #1 spot on the UK charts at Christmas? Well, I’m not saying that it’s going to happen again but in order to be in with a shot, you need a Christmas single and that’s exactly what Spike and the Gimme Gimmies (formerly Me First and the Gimme Gimmies) have done.

They are back to spread festive chaos in true Gimmes fashion, hitting the road this winter with a tour that promises sleigh‑bells, sweat, and singalongs. At the heart of it all is their brand‑new single, All I Want For Christmas Is You, out November 21st on Fat Wreck Chords.

Available digitally and as a limited‑edition red flexi disc tucked inside a spectacular 2026 calendar, the track is a tongue‑in‑cheek gift that guarantees fans will stay in the ho‑ho‑ho spirit long after the lights come down.

Frontman Spike Slawson leads the charge with his sweet pipes, multilingual charm, and ukulele‑wielding skills — a force of nature who turns every gig into a party. He’s joined by CJ Ramone (bass, backing vocals), John Reis (guitar) — the San Diego riff scientist behind Rocket From The Crypt and Hot Snakes, Andrew “Pinch” Pinching (drums) and Jake Kiley (guitar) — Strung Out’s ferocious jungle cat with a hot pink Jackson. For the UK leg of the tour, Dan Goatham of Snuff steps in on guitar, ensuring the sleigh stays loud and the spirit stays strong.

From California to Cork, the Gimmes are decking the halls with sackloads of distortion….
