With delicate and light-hearted melodies, listening to this song is a treat and transports us into calmer version of life. Writing the song with her dad, this track has a clear and evident emotional value which can be heard through the sweet and soft lyrics.

Her Skin describes herself as a Caramelised singer songwriter with an intimate freak folk and faded punk flavour filling and this track is the perfect embodiment of that. A simple but clever soundscape allows the lyrics to breathe and feel as if she is in the room talking to the listener. There is also a precise use of layering throughout the track to create distinct rise and falls, heightening the emotive content throughout.

“‘Suitable’ is a love song. I wrote it as a reminder that love should be something natural and spontaneous and not something that you can force. I just wanted to write a song that described this idea of love as something romantic, that transcends all distances, something that’s not really under your control.” SARA AMMENDOLIA
