'Live It Up Before You Die It Up!' the new album, OUT NOW via In Stereo Records/Fierce Panda
Terror Pigeon, the self-described World's Sweatiest Band, have landed on In Stereo Records/Fierce Panda.
Live It Up Before You Die It Up, the second album from the Nashville-based, creative driving-force Neil Fridd, is a riot of colour-crazed choruses, thrift store electronics and indestructibly buoyant melodies. There's a party going on in their sweaty, nerdy heads, and we're all invited.
The new LP follows 2010's I Love You! I Love You! I Love You And I'm In Love With You! Have An Awesome Day! Have The Best Day Of Your Life! which was released on David Byrne's Luaka Bop label and instantly caused 183 bloggers' typewriting keyboards to explode.
Apparently drawing from the Andrew WK school of philosophy, Fridd says of the project: "So if an asteroid was gonna take out Earth tomorrow, and your friends were having a huge party to celebrate what a wild ride it's been, when you showed up this band would be playing. Join them in their jubiliant, dance party salute to the supreme ass-kickingness of life."
