Fresh out of the blocks and launching just last month, Hertfordshire four-piece The Hunna are fast becoming indie rock’s most exciting prospects, following the rapid success of both their debut single and triumphant 13-date UK tour with Coasts last month.
‘Bonfire’, their debut single, has ignited a storm online. The band’s fervent fanbase has sent the track shooting up to #8 on Spotify’s UK Viral Chart, competing with the likes of Justin Bieber and Adele in the Top Ten.
The accompanying tour video, which shows their manic time on the road, has now smashed 600,000 views on Facebook in just over a week, documenting the near hysteria that they’ve encountered, with hoards of adoring young fans following them around the country, demanding every last bit of their attention.
‘Bonfire’, was produced by Tim Larcombe (Lana Del Rey, Halsey) and mixed by Dan Grech (Wolf Alice, Circa Waves), and is a frantically-paced, guitar-driven anthem and a dramatic statement of intent from a band with wide-eyed, bottomless potential and the ambition to go all the way. You can listen to the track HERE.
With a wealth of youthful energy, but the determination to make a striking first impression, the band shut themselves off from the outside world for a year, spending every minute together crafting a sound and live show that is far beyond their years.
“There is no doubt in my mind that The Hunna are one of the most exciting guitar bands to come out in the past 10 months!” – It’s All Indie
“The song is a fast-paced guitar anthem that’s instantly likeable, showing off the band’s potential to go far” – Hit The Floor
Following The Hunna’s first taste of life on the road last month with label mates Coasts, which included a date at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire, the band return to London on March 3rd with their first ever headline show, at Boston Music Rooms, which has almost sold out within seven days of going on sale!
2016 will see the band deliver on their potential with non-stop touring and some of the freshest and most exciting music to delight the ears of fans across the UK. The rapid rise of The Hunna is growing and growing by the day, showing absolutely no signs of slowing down.
