British Folk Rock duo Bear’s Den are on the road again after announcing a 40 date tour to accompany the release of the new album So That You Might Hear Me which will be arriving on the 26th April 2019. The tour started in the Netherlands on the 1st of April and finishes in Los Angeles mid June and covers Europe, UK, USA and Canada....Bear’s Den have new music and they want the world to hear it!
We’ve already been treated to some teaser tracks from the band with tracks Blankets Of Sorrow
Fuel on the Fire
and Laurel Wreath which features a simplistic artwork compared with just a simple black backdrop and a neon outline of objects associated with the songs.
The tracks are also more synonymous with the 2016 album Red Earth and the Pouring Rain veering away from the early folk sounds that Islands brought us and moving towards a more developed electronic folk sound, which will be very exciting and interesting to how they create the sounds live.
Since 2012, Bear’s Den have certainly taken the world by storm racking up over 50 million listens on Spotify on their hit track ‘Sophie’ released in 2013 and supported the likes of Mumford & Sons and Daughter as well as headlining their own tours. If you don’t manage to get to one of the 6 UK tour dates (or 40 worldwide!) then you can catch the duo this summer at a number of festivals including Citadel Festival in London; Boardmasters in Cornwall; and for those travelling to Europe for the festivals this summer, Rock Werchter in Belgium.
