When the lovely ladies in the press tent at Boardmasters Festival ask if you’d like to chat to a Grammy nominated artist who may be popping into the press area later on in the evening, who was I to say no?

I think Kelli-Leigh was due in a couple of hours before her set on the Unleashed stage and as the time approached, a golf buggy arrived with her and her people on board. We de-camped to the press tent, got comfy and I chatted to her about loads of things, mainly around how it feels to finally be out there again playing in front of a real audience and whether the lockdown period for her had been particularly creative or not.
