Reading’s ONLY THE POETS are offering one unsigned UK band or artist the chance to support them at their sold-out O2 Academy Brixton show on 2nd February 2026, providing a rare platform for emerging talent at a milestone moment for the band.

Unsigned acts can enter via the submission link here, with five artists personally shortlisted by Only The Poets to perform at The Purple Turtle in Reading on 31st January 2026, as part of the all-day celebrations for the release of the band’s debut album.

The Purple Turtle, a key venue in the band’s early journey, will host the showcase, with fans choosing the final winner on the night. The selected act will support Only The Poets at Brixton, and all five performers will be paid directly by the band.

'And I'd Do It Again' - the debut album from Only The Poets - will be released on 30th January via Capitol Records.
