Cheltenham 6 piece follow London headline show and You Me At Six UK tour with the announcement of their first headline tour for 2014 – plus appearances at Liverpool Sound City, Live at Leeds and Dot To Dot Festival’s in Bristol, Manchester and Nottingham.
Fast rising British indie pop band Young Kato today announced a host of new UK shows including their first headline tour of 2014 which kicks off in Oxford on April 22nd and ends in Bath on May 2nd. The bands headline tour follows their own London Highbury Garage show on March 27th and a nationwide tour supporting You Me At Six. Young Kato book end the period between March 27th and April 5th with two very special London shows - March 27th is the bands biggest headline show to date and April 5th signifies the last of the 7 tour dates with You Me At Six at north London’s spectacular Alexandra Palace.
Having recorded and completed their debut album with in-demand producer Dan Grech-Marguerat (The Vaccines, Tom Odell, Howling Bells, Beck, Hurts, Lana Del Rey) at The Strongrooms Studio complex in East London Young Kato are excited to showcase the new additions to their burgeoning catalogue.
Just prior to another great surge of live activity for the band, Young Kato release standout single ‘Help Yourself’ on March 24th. ‘Help Yourself’ brilliantly showcases this young band’s knack for writing classic pop songs that will stand the test of time. Soaring guitars give way to vocalist Tommy Wright’s uniquely rangy vocal style and come together once again to create a single that proves Young Kato were one of the major standout acts to launch in 2013.
